Return, Refund and Exchange Policy
At Awkward Age, each piece is made with intent and care. We understand that sometimes things don’t work out — here’s how we handle it:
Returns
We accept returns only under the following conditions:
- The product delivered is defective, damaged, or incorrect
- You contact us within 3 days of delivery
To initiate a return:
- Email us at info@awkwardage.in with your order ID, issue details, and photos of the item
- The item must be unused, unwashed, and in its original packaging with tags intact
Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you of approval and begin refund processing.
Refunds
If approved:
- Refunds are made to the original payment method
- Processing time: 7–10 working days
- Shipping charges (if applicable) are non-refundable
Exchanges
We offer size or product exchanges if stock is available, under the following conditions:
- You email us at info@awkwardage.in within 3 days of receiving your order
- The item is unused, unwashed, and in original condition
Exchange Process:
- Email us with your request
- Once approved, ship the item back at your own cost
- On receiving and verifying the item, we’ll ship out your replacement
In case your preferred size/product is out of stock, we’ll issue a store credit valid for 6 months.
No Return or Exchange On:
- Items purchased during sales, discounts, or limited edition drops
- Custom pieces or accessories
- Minor color differences (due to lighting/screens)
